It's Time To Dedicate Myself To The Self. It's Time For Sadhana.

Why do I do my personal Sadhana? Because it's the time to dedicate myself to the Self.

Apart from the fact that teachers do it to sustain a certain level of energy necessary to guide the students through their personal journey, there are many other reasons why we should do it.

I hear the alarm. I open my eyes and see that it's still dark outside. My first reaction is to postpone the alarm and return to bed - but no, I remain awake to go brush my teeth. It's time to dedicate myself to the Self. This is the ambrosial hour. The air is clear, there is not much going on yet. It is a perfect time to connect to the Universe without having all that buzz around us.

Still half asleep, I get onto the mat and start going inwards - oh well, actually I haven´t been outwards yet as I'm still lingering somewhere in between the dream wonderland and there is not much going on in my mind. That's it! This is the perfect condition to do the Sadhana. The mind is not racing around and I just do what I need to do. There are no thoughts. No judgements. It is just me and the silence and that energy.


It all feels so pure that I can fully concentrate and connect to the Universal energy. An hour later when I have closed the session with chanting Sat Nam I am ready to face the day. I am calm yet energised. I know it is going to be an awesome day no matter what happens, even when I need to turn problems into challenges.  I'm ready for it. This is my gift to myself that I would not change for anything else.

I encourage you to try it out yourself because you deserve it.  Even if your Sadhana is just a short meditation, it will bring changes. It will bring your soul closer to yourself, therefore you know you can't go wrong with it.
